Confirmed...it stands for "Priority of Processing", and it's as a result of the small numbers being recruited.  Your file needs to meet a certain threshold with regard to the items Sample2K7 mentioned or it simply won't be processed further.  Congrats on bumping it up!

Having just completed the application process (Reg F) and been merit listed, I can confirm (for my application, anyway) that there was no blood/urine draw during the medical. Having spent a significant portion of the time after the CFAT filling out the "What drugs do you have experience with"...

For what it's worth, you shouldn't worry about RMS Clerk closing before you're able to update the CFRC next week.  My wife has just been merit listed for RMS Clerk, and all signs (and info from her recruiting sergeant) point to selections being made sometime in the fall.  We had confirmation...

My wife just got word, her medical has been approved by Ottawa, so all that remains is for her file to be merit listed! I've also updated the date of my merit listing, it was approved by the file manager on the 13th, but apparently with the clerks in Toronto being on an "operational exercise"...

Could not agree more with your second point, was thinking the same thing as soon as he brought the point up.  It's not just the politicians or the system that's broken, it's the underlying acceptance of the status quo by the majority involved.  It's a bipartisan problem that cannot be solved...
