Thanks for the explanation. Being rear gunner in a convoy would not be so bad. The middle of the convoy seems like the most likely place to detonate a road side bomb. This looks like a laser pointer used to direct fire. Pretty spectacular. Being clueless though, i have no idea what's happening...

This website www.dragonlasers.com and others like it sell laser pointers that are meant to be useful in combat zones. I'm not so sure. Non lethal deterrant, pinpoint enemy forces, troop directio etc etc. Sounds good but can they really do it?
