Hello, If you completed Reservist BMQ as a Reserve MP, get out for 3 yrs and rejoin as a Reg Force MP, do you have to complete the Reg Force BMQ? Thanks in advance.

Its true, it can take months. However usually the holdup is Ottawa and sitting on someones desk. Also, pilots and Navigators get priority and remusters too over civilians joining.

They send your medical file to DRDC Toronto to make sure you are medically fit for an air factor category for air crew My wifes took 1 week for hers once Toronto actually got the file from Ottawa.

yes other trades can get it however its usually aircrew. Int Op, JTF2 and other moc are just some. But any idea of what goes on there?

They want you to have at least 4 yrs by the end of the yr you apply in. They prefer you to have QL5 in your previous trade however there are exceptions. It is a COTP program so it is an ongoing yearly. The board sits this month and only sits once per yr so next Nov 2007 is when the next...

The INT QL 5 course is 14 wks long. 9 in the common phase and 5 in the element specific phase. Your qualifications are good for 5 yrs after getting out so you are in luck. Good luck.
