Hi, I just swore in this week and was given the security clearance form to complete for my arrival at BMQ. For the residence and employment history it says to provide the information for the past 10 years, but there is a note on one page saying that the information is only required since your...

I can't say for sure but I really can't see you being cleared medically fit if you require a knee brace for physical activity. Though I wouldn't let it stop you from trying, the only way you will know for sure is to go for it and talk with them about it during your medical.

I wouldn't stress it too much man. As long as your doctor says it is not an issue and you are fit to join, I highly doubt they will declare you unfit. That is why they want you to go to your doctor, to get confirmation that you are good to go.

Maybe I read it somewhere else or am just losing my mind but armoured infantry sounds very familiar and I swear it was on the forces website. If I am wrong I still think it was pretty obvious what he was saying.
That's what the trade was called for a long time on the forces website. They must have recently changed it to armoured soldier. I don't think it's too hard to understand what he meant though...
Your best bet would be just to ask your recruiter. I know that response gets said a lot and I am applying for avn and avs but after my interview we went over the positions available, the merit list and where I will sit on the list when my application is finished.
I think it all really depends on who is interviewing you. I just finished my interview a couple days ago and it was very short, I was at the office for about an hour and a half and that included part of my medical. We seemed to spend more time going over the merit list for my trades after the...
