Hi guys, I was just wondering, and this may sound weird, but... Any of you guys have any diagrams on how to properly lace the DEU safety boots?  I've only worn my DEU's once, and I did it ONCE copying someone else's (don't think it was even correct), and now I don't remember how to do it. ...

And when I said did anyone ever dive on one, I didn't mean anyone here (hopefully).  Meaning if anyone ever heard of it happening.  Morbid curiosity, and no I'm not going to try it myself and tell you all what happened.

You know I'm actually curious, on the topic of T-Flashes, did anyone ever "dive" on one, either out of stupidity, reckless heroism, or other reasons?

Hey, anyone know what's up with the PPCLI kit shop?  Been a few months since I placed an order, got a confirmation e-mail but no responses to inquiries since then, and no stuff :(  They closed down for now or something?

Might be a bit late in replying but no, don't get the sling.  Unless you've got a C8 with a sidemount swivel like in the picture, it doesn't really work on the C7.  I just got one from the PPCLI kitshop, haven't actually 'received' it yet but will test it out on my civy AR-15.

Doesn't get in the way at all, and yes it's on the outside, whether you shoot left or right handed. 

Stuff I've gotten: FMP #4:  Love it.  Lots of little windows and pockets and stuff, majority of them are zippered or velcro'ed (safe and secure when running around).  Windows are great for quick references. Nametags are useful of course. The 3 point sling is worthless unless you've got a C8. ...

So speaking of knives, anyone else have the C5 knife?  I was issued it but it never came out of the KFS holder until I actually turned in my webbing.  Found it really difficult to open and dull as heck  :-\ As for knives...Gerber and a $19 folding knife.  All I need.  Gerber mainly for the...
