I'm looking into joining as an Image Tech, but that trade is currently closed. Does anyone know how long it usually takes for a closed trade to become open? And once that happens, how long does it take until I'm employed and getting paid?

All of the things you listed do cost money, tv shows- well there's your cable bill (i personally don't bother with cable) movies- you have to rent or pay a theatre to view and only entertain you for an average of 2hrs per movie. PT can also cost money depending on your gym or what kind of sport...

I bought the expansion :) ..about the monthy fee.. it's practiclly nothing.. it's alot cheaper to play a game then spend money on other entertainment.

Yes there are a lot of army folks around, but what can you expect from a military community? I also like some of the surrounding area where it's more rural therefore there is more room. Then you dont have to worry about nosy neighbors.

I think Oromocto is a great place especially if you want a safe neighborhood for your kids. I've been living just outside Toronto since Sept 2005, and I can't wait to move back to Oromocto in Mach. It sux here.. it's all concrete, dirt, and homeless people... and people are rude. :P
