Any ideas why this trade is no longer on the recruiting site? It can still be found through Google, but is no longer listed in the Jobs section. Perhaps it's going under ACISS?  >:D

I'm not sure if this is the right place for this question, but here goes. Due to the fact that MCpl is, by definition if nothing else, an appointment, can one be promoted straight from Cpl to Sgt? Assuming all requisite courses, TI, etc.

Trying to PLAR the 2.1 would probably be pointless. My understanding is that if you PLAR the 1.1 you can remain Core but participate in deployments in the sub-occ of the 1.1.

Yes, I understand that. This is simply what was passed on to me. Edit: There can easily be IST/CST types on the Reserve side via PLAR of the DP1.1

I've just been told that the PRes is currently only authorized to train and recruit ACISS with the intent of training them as LST or staying ACISS Core. Has anyone else heard this?
