I still say the CV90 is superior to the Redback. Plus the Redback isn't based on the K9 or use the same engine, so it doesn't have the common fleet advantage going for it.
I'm still not sold on the Redback over the CV90 (the Redback has no commonality with the K9/K10), and a HIMARS purchase is apparently already underway.
What sort of differences? Because if it's a larger fuselage, but the same engines, avionics and other parts, it shouldn't be an insurmountable problem. If there are major parts differences that prevent compatibility, that's another story.
