Joining the Canadian forces in the future, need help!

As I am reading this post, I see a lot of advice of keeping fit, eating healthy and getting proper rest. Although that is good when wanting to join the military, it should be part of your everyday routine in any career, especially at a young age. If you want to prepare yourself for a military...

The Sleep Superthread- Apnea/ Disorders/ etc.

But I dont know .....I have been told  that commercial pilots and such carrying civil passengers are still allowed to fly with ot....but I wasn't sure the military's take on it...was only inquiring to see if anyone else in the aircrew position had it...and I am not saying flight surgeons are bad...

Beck...whats even worse is when something goes wrong on your finale phase of training ( Otu/ moat) and they need to send you to a different platform...so you get stuck in limbo for over a year and counting!!  Oh fun times indeed...but eye in the sky can vouch for that...lol

The Sleep Superthread- Apnea/ Disorders/ etc.

I know the flight surgeon is  the best to ask...but that is like shooting yourself in the foot. I was just wondering if there were any aircrew who already had it checked and still kept their air factor...but thanks for the response...you seem to more about it then I do..lol

The Sleep Superthread- Apnea/ Disorders/ etc.

I already looked and couldn't find this topic. Does any one know if  sleep apnea would screw up an air crew medical. getting the proper equiptment would give better sleep and reduce blood pressure, resulting in better preformance. Is there any other air crew who may have it and still fly.
