I'm starting to freak out a bit here. I still have not heard from my unit and we leave tomorrow. They called yesterday but they didn't leave a message. So I still don't know what to bring and even what time I'm leaving the armories at. As for what were sleeping in I have no idea.

Where are you from? My unit is literally 15 minutes from petawawa and I'm being sent to Sault St. Marie (10 hours away) for my BMQ and arty training! Man what I would give to do it in Petewawa....

I would suggest not touching your gear until you get taught where everything goes and how everything goes together. Your unit should hold a training night or weekend where they get you to bring in all your gear and teach you everything you need to know. Oh, also a not on the boot soaking thing...

Well my unit is going through a transformation from air defence to artillery so they are not able to do any BMQ courses until summer. My recruiter said that my summer BMQ would probably be in Meaford, Ontario or Petawawa. thanks Usman_Syed.
