Well we wont get a 4th sub until 2034 and might not get 13th RCD for 20 yrs hopefully but thats a 7yr timetable for the first 3 RCDs

maybe we dont end up with 15 RCD and only 12 as replacements for the Halifax? Short production runs arent great. I doubt the RCN or Irving will be in favour of moving off the RCD

Wish Ontario shipyards all the best but once burnt, twice shy. Would they not need massive investments in their shipyards not unlike Seaspan/Irving and Davie? I wonder about spreading things too thin I cant see how we can maintain large engineering/design capabilities for all these yards...

Davie seems real slow off the mark, it makes one wonder how much harder it might be to get another yard up and going
