My wife is also a US Citizen and also has no interest at all in ever moving to the US. We’ve been living in Ireland for the last 7 years on the back of my Dutch citizenship (through my dad). She recently applied for Irish citizenship and the current plan is to retire to Spain for a hole bunch...
