Standardizing duties regardless of physical ability + Failing courses for PT?

It is fairly equal most of the time. You can not carry your weight simply work on it or just get out. IMO

Camel Bak on BMQ 13K march ?

My bad I forgot to mention that I hook it onto the bottom portion of my waist strap.  Also I just a naglene style bottle so I guess if you can not use a camelbak you probably can not do this.  I tried it one day because I forgot my camelbak and it works great never moves around,  I do not even...

Camel Bak on BMQ 13K march ?

If they say no just get a large carbiner hook your water bottle into it and put it in your pocket.  It is easier to get there then the pouch on your tac vest.

    Operator Ugly Fitness Test

I agree with this but I think it will be a LONG LONG time before pure strength no matter how important is ever in a fitness test.

Emergency "space" blanket vs. thermal sights

I have seen that you can use what im pretty sure was a  large piece of copper as a shield. It just acted as a mirror.  I dont know if this works in a real world situation tho.

CSOR and JTF2 Physical Fitness tests - what they are, minimum standard, etc

also sorry to turn your thread into a flame war!  That was not my intention.  Your best bet would be follow a program similiar to military athlete, sofwods, or sealfit untill you are prepping for selection.  Those programs are designed to start 12 weeks out so you peak on your selection.

CSOR and JTF2 Physical Fitness tests - what they are, minimum standard, etc

Hey man people changed I have learned more.  Now I realize being the fittest person in the platoon makes it so much easier on you.  Generally you only go as hard as the weakest quarter of people.

    Operator Ugly Fitness Test

hmm I am interested in trying this, as a much larger dude at 230lbs this seems to be in my favor compared to the regular fitness tests.

CSOR and JTF2 Physical Fitness tests - what they are, minimum standard, etc

To me that sounds like something too lazy to train hard would say.  If you are extremely fit the suffering they put you through is not nearly as hard compared to if you are unfit.  That helps you recover much faster and have more energy.  Just my opinion tho.

    Mod 6 for selection

There has been a rumor going around that this was the last year you could try out for the hill or CSOR with out your mod 6.  Can anyone verify this or should I just contact the BPSO?

Before and After BMQ - Push / Sit / Chin Ups

Before BMQ: Push Ups: roughly 30 Sit Ups: 51 Chin Ups: 5 After BMQ: Push Ups: roughly 40 Sit Ups: 51 no change! Chin Ups: 9 that was a long time ago tho so my numbers could be wrong. I dropped 40 lbs so obviously body weight scores went up but i was much much weaker after overall.
