My Maternal Grandfather was a "D-Day Dodger" with the PPCLI; fought in Sicily and Italy before being wounded at the Moro and subsequently discharged. I always raise a beer to my Grandfather (may he rest in peace) and all the other D-Day Dodgers every 10th of July!
