On a more serious note having Ottawa and Toronto first round is probably better than a finals with anyone else.

Caps are my hometown team at this point, so I need to root for them.
I hate Moronto, so I will never be cheering for the Make Believes, Ottawa being my birth town just adds fuel to that...
I am absolutely ambivalent about the Florida teams, other than it would be fun to see the Tkachuk brother square off against each other - so maybe a Sens-Panther R2 would be nice.
Further edit:
Can't stand the Kings since the whole Gretzky defection from Edmonton (I hold eternal grudges in Hockey) - so while I would be cheering for Edmonton anyway - it's double in the first round against the Kings.

I doubt many folks in Toronto concern themselves much with Winnipeg. One way, or the other.
Been to Killarny, MB for my sisters wedding. Thought it was a nice town with nice people. Wouldn't wish any pain on them.

Hate the town - not the team. Surely whatever mortal sin they committed in the past has be atoned in the intervening almost 60 years.

Two insufferable cities against each other?
Toronto historically will choke worse than the StL did tonight, so I expect Ottawa Sens to advance there (admittedly that may also just be hope).
The Habs are going to get destroyed by the Caps.
So I don’t see either of your wishes coming true…
