is it a 6 or a 700? Any details?lol they aren’t calling it the LAV 700 anymore. I wonder what the CA is buying now.
Curious is that’s a TOW, Javelin or Hellfire launcher (Hellfire are usually on exposed rails but some are enclosed). Hellfire or Javelin would at least allow for NLOS.
Is Israel going to sell us more when we wont sell them anything and arent being nice anymore? If I was a betting man, I'd say SPIKE since we just bought the ground mount version.
Israelis like making moneyIs Israel going to sell us more when we wont sell them anything and arent being nice anymore?
HAV being Hoplessly Aboveweight Vehicle ?If its that weight does it become a MAV instead? Where does it become a HAV?
EuroSPIKE isn't Israeli anymore... lol Just IP owned by an Israeli company. So I suspect we could just buy Euro-built SPIKE.Is Israel going to sell us more when we wont sell them anything and arent being nice anymore?

That the issue has been resolved (for a long time), and they work just fine now. Software (firmware?) issue for the first delivery.
Incremental upgrade(s) to the same frame/chassis vs completely new vehicle is my guessI am curious what the difference between LAV 6 Mk 2 and LAV 700 is. On first sight, it does appear the Mk 2 is a bit smaller than the 700.
Yes, but I'm wondering what those are. I was pretty lucky to see the 700 live fire two turret configurations a few years back, but beyond that I don't have much SA on the differences between the two.Incremental upgrade(s) to the same frame/chassis vs completely new vehicle is my guess
LAV 700 for 711 hp CAT engine?Yes, but I'm wondering what those are. I was pretty lucky to see the 700 live fire two turret configurations a few years back, but beyond that I don't have much SA on the differences between the two.

Buy for Europe. Ship back to Canada.I am quite certain we cannot. Part of Rafael’s deal with Euro Spike is that Rafael only allows EuroSpike to sell within Europe. The rest of the world has to go through Rafael proper.
Well there is always the french one AKERON or whatever its called.I am quite certain we cannot. Part of Rafael’s deal with Euro Spike is that Rafael only allows EuroSpike to sell within Europe. The rest of the world has to go through Rafael proper.
Based on the picture and without a more detailed description, I don't like it. The pop the top and fold down side panels make me think that it is nothing more than an expensive, glorified logistics vehicle. I can see the value of that in restocking the ammo vehicle but fail to see how it provides ammunition to the main gun without exposing the crew. You could probably get two or more LVMs with protected cabs for the price of one ACSV-ammo to do the same job.Anyone have any impression that ammo carrier?
and really those panels likely only block small arms fire, and would be useless against AT, which to your point just makes it an over priced truck, and while it may be able to survive a mine strike, it still would be taken out and would be over priced for a simple logistics vehicleBased on the picture and without a more detailed description, I don't like it. Seems like a few disappointments in the LAV family. Weird ammo truck, pop open mortar variant (if the picture is accurate) and the ever-fucked LAV LRSS. Let's hope the LAV 6 mk 2 is better since I'm sure we'll get them haha.Based on the picture and without a more detailed description, I don't like it.
