Best Trades?

Hi all, recent graduate of a Master of Science program. Always have been interested in the CAF.

Given below, what could be good trades for me. I'm already leaning towards Signals Officer or something similar:

• Young, fit, in my early 20s.
• I recently graduated from a Bachelor's in Computer Science, and a Master's in Cyber Security.
• Past experience working in the federal public service (with security clearance) in jobs related to software development, some security work.
• Published work in the Military Journal related to security issues.

Have you looked at the website and at all the trades available? with your university degree you can choose from many NCM or officer trades. ead up on the different trades, talk to a recruiter and see what you are interested in.

Seriously, assuming you stick with it through Basic, you will love Basic Signal Officer Course at Canadian Forces School of Communications and Electronics in Kingston. Many interesting opportunities in the Corps, good civilian opportunities if you decide to go PRes or retire, good network of like-minded professionals in the field.
