America first but yet they are propping a country that the US has no real connection to over the last 40,50,60yrs. On top of that the US is yanking Venezuelas chain big time.
Let’s see, Argentina to the south of Brazil and Venezuela to the north. Is there some attempt to ‘surround’ Brazil for some reason?

On October 9, US Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent announced that the US has bought Argentine pesos and finalized a $20 billion currency swap framework with the country’s Central Bank (BCRA). The specifics of the swap, along with forms of assistance the Trump administration has indicated it is ready to provide to support the Milei administration, are expected to be announced on October 14 as the Argentine president meets with President Trump in Washington.
As Bloomberg reported, “Trump and Bessent are making a bet on a nation that’s defaulted and devalued repeatedly over the past several decades. The goal is to help their political ally, President Javier Milei, notch a win in the Oct. 26 midterm elections, and calm markets unsettled by fears of his leftist rivals returning to power.”
This unusual direct intervention from the US Treasury followed the Argentine Treasury’s spending of at least $1.5 billion over the past week in an attempt to stabilize the peso, which continued to lose value nonetheless. Unfortunately, peso volatility has long been the norm in Argentina, rather than the exception. Major peso collapses have occurred in 1952, 1958, 1967, 1975, 1985, 1989, 2001, and 2018/19.

Oh to see direct foreign interference in another countries elections conducted in broad daylight.
Really reminds us of the commitment to transparent government that the president and his administration has. From bribes to direct foreign interference, firing people who oppose him to use national security as a pretext for blatant economic warfare, he really is the most transparent president because he's learned the most important lesson a president has ever learned. The congress will never stop him, and neither will the supreme court.

Well that didn’t take long. Six months into an 87 month prison sentence following his guilty plea, Trump has commuted disgraced former congressman George Santos’ sentence.Couldn't of happened to a better guy. Santos off to the Crow-Bar-Hotel for seven years.

Returning the survivors of the latest strike is really making it seem like it might have very well been a random boat (which also brings into question of the validity of the other strikes), and not of the criminal variety.
