Not the hero we want, but the hero we need ;)

"I have officially separated from the Air Force, and I’m here to confess all of my dirtbag SrA sins.

To preface, I never got paperwork, was genuinely good at my job, always helped my fellow airmen, got a 4 on my epb, and have 3 decs. I’m just a dirtbag

I would use the same rotating set of pictures I took of a train at the train tracks if I was late to work. It was never because of the train.

I was a PTL for like 3 yrs, if someone was like a few points away from passing, I would fudge the numbers. I passed at least like 20 people who should’ve failed.

My eyelashes were 16mm instead of 14mm long at the longest lash.

Genuinely don’t think my nails were in regs one time, but were always pretty close.

I never ONCE had any tapes on underneath my fleece.

If my fleece was zipped all the way up I was not wearing my ocp top.

I vaped in every single GOV I drove.

I also vaped inside government buildings.

If no one was around I wouldn’t put the tines of my forklift down before getting out.

If no one was there I was NOT using a spotter in a GOV.

I would see FOD in my tires during my FOD check sometimes and do nothing.

If no one was there I absolutely would not do a FOD check.

I almost never ever filled up the tires during first of the month inspections.

I never checked the air pressure on all the tires on any trailers or dual wheeled vehicles. If one was good they all were good.

Drank during duty hours.

If I was alone during an exercise my gas mask was NOT on.

My gas mask was on tight enough 30% of the time.

Came in to work a few minutes late for like a month and no body noticed. Stopped before I got caught.

Rarely was “15 minutes early” to ANYTHING.

Slept in the van waiting for aircrew.

If you were an NCO and talked shit to me about an airmen, I would tell the airmen.

If I saw an LOC/LOR on someone’s desk when they weren’t there, I was reading that shit FS.

I’d eavesdropped EVERY chance I could to hear the tea.

Did not report minor scratch damage to a GOV that was my fault.

I was NOT getting out to check all my lights before driving the GOV.

If the vehicle wasn’t that dirty I was not taking that shit to the wash rack. I would wiped the dirt off with a towel.

Never have I once actually payed attention to a cbt. I cheated whatever way I could.

I got a fellow PTL to fudge the paper work for a pt test I did not take.

Did the same favor for that PTL.

I was almost always speeding in the GOV, especially off base overseas.

I would have fake medical appointments on days I didn’t want to go to an all call and would go home.

If the appointment was before 0900, or after 1400 my ass was NOT going to work before/after that appointment.

If I was late to pick up pax or cargo, I would blame it on a fake person to the customer.

If the email was from booster club, I would delete it without opening it.

If I was picking up a pilot that ignored me when I said good morning/good afternoon when I dropped them off, I would pick them up last on purpose.

If I was picking up an aircrew and they had been rude or annoying before, I would pick them up a little late on purpose.

I would brake hard on purpose to annoy pax if they were rude. I would also hope they would fall over or hit the seat in front of them.

If my pants were tucked into my boots, that ment I was wearing non-ocp socks cause I forgot to do laundry.

All in all, be the best dirtbag you can be, try not to create real work for your fellow airmen, integrity sometimes, and don’t get caught. It was my pleasure to serve and my pleasure to get tf out!"
