Further update:

Is this man entitled to VAC benefits for his injuries?

Yes, he's covered much the same way that a class A primary reservist is covered, "while employed in sanctioned events."

As a CIC Officer on official business I would assume yes, but this could turn out to be a very public test of the system. Once out of rehah, he might have to step down as CIC, at which point VAC takes over....

So according to this clown (Communist Party of Canada) all Korean War vets are war criminals.
Lucky for us 911 Vets he can’t count!
Ties in with the lefist narrative of "if they were fighting Communists, they HAD to be fascists".
Not that South Korea's government was entirely defensible in all its practices, but you can't have memes without scrubbing all context or nuance, right?

“… speaking with people before this all happened … this isn’t new…”

We have to get a grip on our rapidly deteriorating criminal justice system and corresponding deviant behaviour.
Well, considering that the cadets get left at this places without adult supervision, sometimes by themselves, with maybe a parent volunteer or a CIC driving the circuit to check on them one at a time, I'm sure that a lot of things have happened.

I was a cadet supervising cadets doing the same thing way back in the 1900s. The worst we had to deal with was the local school bullies coming buy to make dumb comments.

This sort of anti-social behaviour wasn't common or accepted even 20 years ago. 20 Years ago, the woman would have joined the CIC officer in stopping the attackers... 20+ years of mainstream anti-establishment bullshit has brought us to this point.

Is this Canada worth ruining your quality of life for? It's a question everyone needs to have an answer for, particularly if you wear the uniform.

Made me think of this:

20 years ago we didnt have incentivized trolling through social media. Kids see this, and want to recreate it.
