Opeongo is a scary big lake in a canoe.  I recall a time in a canoe on the lake where paddlers, pushing like hell to clear the lake in whitecaps, would only connect their paddles with water every second stroke due to the height of the waves.  Very scary.

So, apparently they get back to you more rapidly when you send your information to the right email address.  Damn long-ass bilingual email addresses.  What I found surprising was there was no bounceback message indicating I'd sent it to an address that didn't exist.  Probably a security thing. ...

Thank you Gentlemen, I was unable to find useful information on the 'net.  Is there any sort of historical/traditional use for it nowadays, say on a dress uniform or some such?  Or has it gone the way of the late, lamented dodo?

That is my reasonable supposition as well.  However, I'm looking for a bit more detail...

Saw them offered for sale on a kit shop site.  Can someone tell me what a Gunner's whistle is (traditionally) used for?  Is it considered part of the uniform?  Some background on this would be appreciated. Ubique

I have this vision of myself, sometime in the future being asked "why do you know so much about environmentally neutral farming?" and being able to proudly answer "Army.ca, of course" to mystified looks and confusion... See, it's all about teaching the bovines the elements of good drill....;-)...

When you submitted medical information, how long did it take them to get back to you?  I've emailed the required tests to them as of last week, and have as  yet heard nothing.

There is a term for a post-exercise recap during which successes, failures and lessons learned are discussed and documented.  I can’t remember what it’s called.  Could someone jog my memory please?
