I'm not sure what to think of it either. My petition with 62,000 signatures helped to dub the "Highway of Heroes" and personally I'm not against renaming part of Hwy 2. I know there should be no problem with the MTO if Hwy 2 isn't named after anyone and if people support the idea. To me though...
I had my arid CADPAT SOT magnet disappear so I've taken my 2 SOT magnets from the fridge and taped them to the inside of my car. I have no reason to take them off and now they won't "fall" off. ;D
I'm sorry I missed that! I normally run out of the house when I hear a helo but its normally the ornge air ambulance coming or going to university hospital. Where was it Michael? At the airport or near Worsley?
A really good read. I also like how it points out examples for the ignorant to easily agree with (Iltis vs mine). Surprised to see it in a major paper :)
Good meat analogy piper, I'll have to borrow it.
I was emailed some footage of the IL76 with heavy cargo taking off in Australia. You can hear a few funny comments from the control tower too. The link is here http://www.alexisparkinn.com/photogallery/Videos/2008-2-9-Il76-in-Australia.wmv and it played through windows media player. I just...
Coderre has been demoted too. I don't like him one bit.

Plus the pile of bodies were in front of a fire exit, thus endangering everyones life in the room ;D I didn't make the connection between names on the crosses as being "on side" with the protesters, but now I'm even more ashamed it happened in my community. I also feel that if a student has...
Exactly. Personally thats how I feel. If you're old enough to responsibly represent for your country, fight and possibly die for your country(I don't know the age you have to be to be sent to a warzone in Canada, but in Vietnam the youngest US KIA was 16), you should be able to have a beer or...
Yea it was a great night which doesn't happen too often in Toronto, which I think should. Sadly the 27th worst team in the league beat the 2nd best. That's another debate though :P
Personally I don't think he should be punished for his father's history, but I agree with Hatchet Man. If he was allowed in the forces, even by accident he could slip up and reveal information to his father and from father to friends. He wouldn't mean to, but I think its for the greater good of...
**I know this is an old post, but this is the newest 1/6 scale thread**
Thats awesome. I use to collect dragon model figures, but left the hobby due to expense. I've always wanted to see a company do CADPAT, but debated buying MARPAT gear as a 2nd option. I have the coveted Elcan scope, I think...
Wow, that was really interesting. I never would have thought about that. Just another way to help out the people of Afghanistan and its always good that the press is actually showing it.
coming out of the current education system in 2003, I was much of the same. I aced the grade 10 Canadian History course after missing two months. That only covered 1900's to today, but I've forgotten a lot of it, except bits and pieces of our military history. I think its sad that I know more...
This is a great idea, wish more cities and papers got involved like this. Hell, if the Toronto Star did this, i think it would actually be worth buying.
