New vision standards came into effect in 2007.  You are allowed a max of 20/60 in both eyes.  Laser is now an option as well, but you do not need to get it. At some point before you are commissioned, you need to be fluent in both official languages. So you will probably end up taking up to 7...

Sry, should have been more specific. I think it had to do with the fact they were Ortho-k lenses (and reshape the eye). But no, shouldnt have had to wait that long. My opthamologist said 1-2 weeks should be plenty. oh well, im in now :)

You wont receive an offer for a specific job until after that one year of school. They look at all your grades, and everything else you've done up to that point, and make their decision then. if you dont like what they have to offer, you can choose to walk with no obligation.

Katana fan here. Did a quarter of my license on them. The remainder on 172's. The katana is just much better looking and modern.

Agreed, there is very little grade 12 math, if any from what i recall, on the CFAT. Mostly Grade 10 stuff. Practice some online IQ tests, they usually help out quite a bit.
