Thanks Griffon and Scott.  Stacked, as Scott said, I was just trying to find out if what I was told was accurate.  I will keep waiting and hopefully some slots open up later in the year!

I talked with my file manager on Friday and heard some bad news - he said they're only hiring 16 pilots this year and all of those slots are for experienced pilots (previous military service).  Just wondering if anyone else has heard this? I've applied for DEO and am still waiting to attend...

I am so envious.  60deg bank in the circuit sounds amazing.  You must be able to get quite a few circuits in during an hour of flying! Keep us posted - I'd sure love to hear what you work on during BFT.  I sure hope to be where you are in a few years.

How difficult is it to go from flying an aircraft with 250hp to one that has 1100hp? Anyways, congrats.  I'm still anxiously awaiting word on when I'll be attending ASC.  Hopefully once April rolls around they'll be able to give me some more information.

This is my first post on the forums but have been reading quite a bit.  I had my initial interview for direct entry pilot (I have a Mechanical Engineering degree) back in June, followed by the medical, blood work, eye exam, etc.  I was told that based on my CFAT and interview, I was competitive...
