Poorly trained and ill equipped? I'm sure at 16 years old you've had plenty of contact with these "poorly trained and ill equipped" Cambodian police officers to make such a judgement. ::)
Most sickening part of it all is that the Cambodian government gave the hostage takers money and a van to escape in. If these are the types of people Cambodia wants walking down their streets...
Sounds like the Khadr family is still in the game despite their father being killed, their brother being jailed in Gitmo, another brother being killed in Afghanistan and a third one being paralyzed there fighting the Americans.
Is there anything they can do that will get them deported?
kincanucks,
Just to clarify, when you say trades selected real time, do you mean people are selected for these trades at the next selection board or as soon as their file is merit listed?
Cheers.
For mine I brought it, the Captain asked for it, looked over it for a couple minutes and then set it on the table. I looked at it once during the interview.
I agree with Wes as well.
A society that allows proud mothers to dress their children up in fake explosives and carry plastic guns and then sends young men and women off to blows themselves into bits has more wrong with it than it's neighbors.
I've heard it from people in the know that trained SigOps are being sent to either Kingston or Edmonton when they come off their QL3. But that might change by the time you get done your trades training, so take it for what it's worth.
Currently in the recruiting process. Interview, med and CFAT complete. Medical should be en route to Borden in a couple weeks once I get a few forms filled in by my doctor.
I was just down at the recruiting center doing my medical yesterday and the Medical Technician who did my medical said 4-8 weeks for it to come back from Borden.
