    PIA-

The form is quite simply, the simplest form VAC has.....you click yes, write in your service related illness or injury, click yes, click no (unless applying for the supplement), sign and date it. It takes 12 weeks, and generally, they're pretty prompt at the 12 weeks mark for making a decision...

Help! My Class-B is being eliminated in favour of civilians!

You're looking at a different set of legislation. That legislation refers to veterans (those who have done three years). Anways, to the OP - if you find something that interests you down that route, drop me a line and I'll be happy to help.

Help! My Class-B is being eliminated in favour of civilians!

Nope - three years "service"  - doesn't refer to RegF or ResF (or PRes or COATS). 3. (1) The portion of subsection 35.1(1) of the Act before paragraph (b) is replaced by the following: Marginal note:Mobility — member of Canadian Forces 35.1 (1) A member of the Canadian Forces who has...

Help! My Class-B is being eliminated in favour of civilians!

Don't forget that as a member of the CAF with at least three years service, you have access to internal federal public service jobs. Might be something to check out as well.

    5C Release Item

What would cause them not to be offered TOS? Medical? disciplinary? Curious - just trying to get a bit of background as to the "context" (I can see the actual release item definition).  Was this used during FRP at all? Said individual would have released about that time (90 - 95 time frame)

    5C Release Item

I'm wondering if somebody could tell me the "context" of what one would find themselves in having had a 5C release item?  I've read the policy and if I am to be correct (its been a long day, and only two cups of coffee) it was because further TOS was not offered - would this be perhaps for...

    VAC wait times

They just had a massive hiring across Canada for several pools (CM/Client Service Agent/Disability Adjudicator) - I would expect it takes some time to get people on board and up to speed.

9 Sept 2012: Soldiers' mental health programs get $11.4M boost

I would love to go to Bagotville ;) Its just interesting, given that unless you are in government (read: Ministry) or hospital placements, most social work jobs are generally low paying regardless of where one is. Psychologists and Psychiatrists - definitely could see the issue.

9 Sept 2012: Soldiers' mental health programs get $11.4M boost

As a social worker, I find that really hard to believe (for social workers - can't comment on the other part).
