For what it is worth, I have two friends who enrolled through CEOTP. Both became 2nd Lt immediately after completing BOTP. A number of years ago, it seems you remained an OCDT until you were MOC qualified; I don't think that is the case anymore. Good luck.

I held on to that last year and later learned that there were only five CEOTP spots available to serving members. 1.5 years and counting.  :-\

We also paraded during the week in addition to BMQ weekends. Just hang in there and use this time to your advantage. While you are waiting, work on your physical training, your education etc. You haven't been told "no" at this point and things could be much worse. Good luck.

I live just at the end of runway 25/07 at CYOW. I had the treat of seeing Hawk 1 do some formation flying with Challenger14 as well as some overshoots a few minutes ago. What a sight! I love living near the airport.
