    Mercury March .MP3

Sir, I have searched the DWAN high and low as well as the CFSCE DWAN site and I have no links or leads to a copy of the MercuryMarch.mp3 anywhere.

    March 2009 BMQ

Thank you dangerboy, for providing that information. I've been busy all morning with enrollments so I haven't had time to reply. To add to that, LWOP means you're a part of the CF, but not being paid. The day you are on LWOP your contract date starts, but it is not your Change of Strenght (COS)...

    March 2009 BMQ

Just a heads up for all you hopefuls out there, if you're finished your process, don't be surprised to get the "Offer" call and find out you're enrolling this week and shipping out next, with or without LWOP. Oh and if you're still in HS, finishing Gr12 off, please let your recruiting centre know!

    Comm Research

From what I heard unofficially in the COMM RSCH world at CFSCE, Morse is needed once again, but AFAIK no plans to bring it back into the QL3 curriculum exist (as of yet). Instead, they might bring it back as a Speciality.

meni0n and aussiechangover, Thanks for the advice. I've consulted CBI 204.45 PLD, and found some interesting information there. It does explicitly say "posted" but I will have a chat with my MCpl and my OR in regards if that "Att Posting" is bullsh** or not. I do not have the mortgage but I do...

Just to add to that, If you want information on the COMM RSCH trade, the only information authorized to be given out is whats on the forces.ca website. You can try to talk to a 291'er about it, but you'll get only as far as I did, and that was a lot of "... i can't talk about that". Good luck...

meni0n: The issue was raised when the Adj of CFRC Vancouver mentioned there was nth on my message and asked me to check with my CoC back at CFSCE. What I got from my MS was they tried pushing it through up the Chain numerous times before and always came back negative. It got to the point that...

I think he meant QL3 PH1... but I could be wrong. Yeah all my navy buddies had to await SQ courses, some did it in Meaford some in Valcartier. Lucky me got it done while I was on PRETC.

I'm over @ CFRC Van on EWAT after finishing PH1 QL3 for COMM RSCH JR. Have to say, didn't think I'd get out of PRETC haha. EWAT pos's avail are pretty much what TChuki said, but if you get clever and contact a unit back home (go through your CoC) you can possibly get a pos over there as long...

Finished QL3 PH1 in Oct and now ATT POSTED to CFRC Vancouver working as an FM in Processing. Now I know why it took me 8...

Procuring information for EWAT position (BC)

Sorry to bring up a dead thread but just wanted to post an update on my search for an EWAT pos. I'm back home in Vancouver @ CFRC Vancouver working as an acting-FM in Processing. I'm a general lackey to everyone who needs something done, but thats allowed me to do a little of everything from...

    What is your military status?

Update: ATT POSTED to CFRC Van (now in New West) acting-FM. Has really given me insight to the long and complex process of enrollments. Still awtg TS/SA, then back to Kingston for Pt2 QL3.

Procuring information for EWAT position (BC)

Thank you all army.ca subscribers for the great replies. Now my question is if I wanted to contact said units, all I have are ph #s to orderly rooms. I would think contacting them via e-mail on DWAN would be my best bet. Alas my searching on the civi-net hasn't come up with anything, so I will...

Procuring information for EWAT position (BC)

Ah Eye In The Sky, you just saved me from trying to put that into my own words, thank you. CFSCE has some available taskings, but none in my direct home area. I was just throwing this out to see if I could get a bite that someone would be interested or know of someone that would be. And I had...

Just a little update. Still here in the glorious St-Jean Garrison, 23 weeks now. Had a little run in with a knee injury that ended up recoursing 4 weeks back. I'm now beginning week 8, which is test week and workup to Farnham. Finally, just one more week and I'll be out of Garrison. I've seen a...

    OJT instead of PRETC..?

kincanucks and the rest thank you for your replies. I might have misworded my original question, so I'll try again and be more thorough. I was injured on course week 8 and sent to PAT. I've been on PAT for around 50 or so days (good news I'll be back on course this friday though!). During this...
