How much of a logistical issue is it to keep tra k of everyone’s enrolment date and have the pay systems auto pay on those dates?
Or would it be easier to do one dump of money per year, say 31 March?
My fear here is that a Separation Referendum is not being done in good faith. It is being done under outsider influence, to get enough of a result to give certain elements south of the border a reason to intervene.

That is actually genius reference to how RN cooks in the age of sail were entitled to the skim the fat off the vats of cooking salt pork and save it in barrels for sale at the end of the voyage. The fat was called “slush”. It was their “slush fund”.

I agree. The point that I made badly earlier is that religious services themselves are not part of BMQ/BMOQ. Time to attend is usually afforded, but that is based entirely on the training schedule.
My first issue Browning was a 1944 build, still in the storage bag. I was the first to shoot it, outside the factory. This was 1989.
