    from what i've been told about the new TP is that there are now 5 ftx's, more urban ops, and more ranges.

    Its a bit outdated on the CF site, but the latest course lengths are: BMQ-14 weeks DP1-17 weeks-it was 14 weeks but they changed the TP to 17 For infantry you sq and biq got combined into the dp1 course. Plus you could spend sometime in pat in meaford or wainwright.

    more like a 72 hrs ex not 5 days, and you get an hour here or there, don't over-hype basic, once you get to battleschool that's when it gets hard and a pain in the ass

    The differences are in Borden you do PT with the PSP not your instructors, the drill hall and classrooms are outside so you march if you have to go there and there are more air forces, navy and reserve instructors then there are in St Jean. And the room setup is a bit different cause in Borden...

    can someone tell me what task force stand up means, cause 1-10 its says 22 sept 09 on this website http://www.army.gc.ca/LFCA_2010_HR/taskforce_e.asp, does this mean we start pre-deployment training or something else?? and is TF  3-09  going to be 1 or 3 ppcli.
