Hello, I'm 17 turning 18 in December. I remember when I first told my friends about the military they said some really nasty things, some of which I will quote.
"Why do you want to get shot?"
"Don't drop the soap"
"Your going to marry a girl that can bench press you"
Anyways lets just say that...
I agree with that a bit but I remember when I did my interview there was a guy there who didn't know what he was getting into so the recruit took him out of his interview and sat him down in front of the computer and showed him all the videos.
How can they expect to get a bigger army when the recruits have to wait months or even years before they get a job offer.
I wish I'd just get my call, I am ready to go, if they called me tomorrow and wanted me to leave the same day I would, I'd leave tonight if I had to!
I haven't got a call yet but I have started to gather the items I'll be needing to bring with me for basic and I had to use a hockey bag to hold everything and darn is it heavy. The only size of bag this stuff all fits in is my hockey bag and it's really really heavy. I was just curious as to...
It's kool man, the recruiters don't want you to take the test unless your feeling at your best, or at least thats what they told me :). Don't worry your self.
I have no doubt in my mind that a lot more of Canada's soldiers will start leaving Canada and join the British and American armies in the future. I heard Canada wanted to get another 5000 Infantry soldiers into the army or something but how can they increase the army when they take money from it?
