I work at RMC in the Continuing Education Divison... and I take my DL University courses with Athabasca ;) They are awesome. By far - the most flexible and accomidating... For College level courses I use Loyalist College. but... I didn't say that ;)

You don't enrol in your QL3 - you are course loaded. This will all be taken care of for you - and you won't  be the only one. Your best bet for specifics is to ask your chain of command, and/or speak to someone at CFSCE. muffin

I have owned/worked on several different types of laptops int he past 10-15 years and agree that the Dell are SERIOUSLY overpriced pieces of kit. I didn't have many problems with it, but by the time I added all the hardware that was "current" in other systems I paid over $5000 - Same with Sony...

You could always check the R&D cell with CFTDC/CDA too - they are experimenting with incorporating that sort of thing - gaming and sims - into some of their online training.
