Anyone have any more information regarding the UCP of Albertas possibility of establishing their own CFO and having a more common sense gun rights province?
If so, they may have a BC refugee in short order.
Thanks guys, I tried googling but only found one article..

Thanks for that tid bit.. I am a believer those putting their lives at risk to keep mine safe should be well paid.. so when people were saying 68k/yr was a lot, especially in a city.. I was going to disagree.. but 300k/yr is a LOT, benefits matter I guess ^^
Or maybe don't tax the military...
That is one thing I love about BC (or remote communities), we have shia's, we have sunni's, we have sufis and salafis, we have oh crikey I am typing this singing a country song in my head >.<
Any rate lots of good food and people from so many different sects and for the most part we all get...
Aye, their is or are some people, complaining quite loudly about not being able to congregate publicly for tarawih, juma'ah etc. I can very easily see how, what is happening in the world can be weaponized into a propaganda campaign to recruit more people.. I hope I am wrong, but seems like the...
This is really concerning, especially when coupled with mental health issues that exist during economic down turns...
I was personally worried about suicides, depression and other issues due to lay-offs etc.
Hopefully no increase in radicalization is seen.. but yeah...

Insurance has said they will cover it, just paying deductible of course.
My brother has been going hog wild on projects on her. When I get done my vacation I will have to show some before and after pictures for ya'll she is coming along nicely :)

If it happens, which I doubt it will.. I will be coughing my heart out while they are in my home and on to them, shaking their hands, patting their back, guiding them to my safe with my arms etc ^^

Dang, yeah she was only loose for a couple hours too. I have to...
To be honest, I am a sailing n00b. I don't think so... we tied from the cleat to the dock. Googling online I see a spring line would have helped reduce movement.. my brother may have, but I honestly do not know. I am still learning.
Well Vandra my Valiant 40, got damaged due to the wind in sooke :( not sure who will cover repairs. The marinas liability, my comprehensive or my pocket book :(

I am in no way an authoritative figure on railways.. my hire on date was September 2017. So please keep that in mind, I can and do make mistakes and I am continually learning intricacies of the rules I did not know before. Any rate I will try to explain.
Main track is basically anywhere the RTC...
Yeah, I have severe reservations regarding the honesty of those statistics. I personally feel.. however rightly or wrongly the number of derailments is much higher.
I can only speak to CN and CP.. brother in law is a track maintenance foreman for CP. BNSF, SRY and a wack load of other short...
Very interesting..
Were did you get that figure from? 12 derailments since december in BC alone??? If you count non-main track and private industries that have yard goats or use cables.. then 12 since December in BC north makes sense (yes exaggerating a little).
In my 3 years of being...
Bahaha those twigs and pebbles won't do jack. Hell you could be firing a .223 AR at us and I would only duck down out of prudence for safety haha.
We routinely go through trees and split them in half, those twigs would not even slow a train down. Heck one year there was a full grown fir tree...
Usually yep, not going to risk that amount of money for nothing. Plus slow orders, restricting speed etc. If we know we have to watch out for something we can usually stop before it.
I have personally ran a train over skeletonized track and all was ok, so I would rest easy (I can be wrong...
I'll preface an answer as to track damage, with my experience. I have spent last two summers on work trains, working with engineering to maintain and build track. We also have quite regular fires up here intentional or not and fires that trains start themselves, either by using air brakes in the...
