I think if I were one of those websites that determined whether politicians kept their promises I would chalk this under "promise partially kept" Did he do it? yeah. Is it the 20 percent across the board that he promised? No. Is it a good thing overall? Yes. Will some people still grumble? Yes.

Tariffs on 7 percent of trade not covered under CUSMA isn't going to do that much I really doubt we fall behind Turkey, Argentina or Russia, never mind whoever g21 member would be who would theoretically replace us.
