    Ask The CSE Chief

Qualification Standard Plan.  The Army has 2 documents (Qualification Standard & Training Plan), whereas the Navy combined them into one document. Check out CFNES's CSE InTRAnet site (http://halifax.mil.ca) and there should be info on the Standards sub-page

    Afghan Medals Process (merged)

Good question, however we have had people in Kabul for many years now who still get the GCS and work in IJC. Additionally, the NTM-A personnel have also received the GCS. The guys and gals in Kabul get a lower Risk/Hazard pay than the guys in Kandahar region. An educated guess would be that...

WHY THE FU#K DOES YOUR 10-YEAR OLD NEED A SMARTPHONE?

So you get a child a cell phone that is GPS enabled and has pre-programmed numbers put in by the parent as well as 9-1-1. No text, no internet, no email.

WHY THE FU#K DOES YOUR 10-YEAR OLD NEED A SMARTPHONE?

Were they born with it attached to them, No!  There is no need for a cell/smartphone.  There is indeed a "want" factor there. If the power goes out, you need food, you need water, you need oxygen, your cell phone/smart phone will probably not work within 6-12 hours once the UPS's at the cell...

    Customizing Your C7?

If you want a modified C7, I would suggest that you get your RPAL (Restricted Possession License) and buy an AR-15 and modify it to your hearts delight.  Modifying a military weapon is not on and you will probably be in front of your CO doing the hatless dance if you do so.

French Speaking Sailors In The Canadian Navy.

Although NCSM VDQ is a franco unit, more than half of her ship's company (NCM's) can not speak french, therefore emergency pipes are still made in English.  The positions would be CBC French Language Profile imperative, however if there are not enough people with CBC, they commonly fill it up...

    Routine Orders

Best way to put it... RO's are a periodic Order from your chain of command. Periodic as it normally comes out on a somewhat set schedule (Daily, Weekly, Bi-Weekly, Monthly etc) and contains Orders from your Chain of Command. If you do not read your RO's, then you could potentially be charged in...
