I would hope, given experience in Ukraine, that we have between .5 and .75:1 spares to account for casualties. Having 1 spare battery (ops stock) is pretty much none. Have at least a regiment spare.

Yep, but if, right now, you're not paying significant (or any) income tax a reduction there will not be helpful. I know that GST rebates don't cover all your GST payments, so any increase there will be a net loss for low income people.
