Seeds of rebellion are already planted in Donetsk, people are realizing they were fed a lie by russia. No new infrastructure, no one's helping them, DNR military used as cannon fodder, starvation, no water etc
The issue i see current is with so few trainers, It should be each brigade tracking them, not the units. I've offered to help other units and they have zero idea I am a C22 trainer. Units are not communicating how many trainers they have to pool resources.
Absolutely, many troops, techs included probably never touched a pistol before the military, and we expect them to be proficient after a week or so, then maybe touch it once a year after that if lucky.
Imo ive been pushing at my unit that all MRT commanders are carrying sigs in the field going...
It really comes down to training, and safe handling culture. I find a lot of troops are less safe with pistols than they are rifles, at the rceme school most people fail on pistols for safety and mishandling rather then fault finding
Yeah PWT3A (hot holster supplemental) makes more sense to teach first, it saves a huge amount of time on the other PWTs. Section 5 of the operational shooting program needs to be completely rewritten for the new pistol any way, we really need to take the opportunity to get it right
Because all polling indicates Smith and her gov are pursuing this, against the will of the people. Where as Quebec had a significant population pro leaving. Alberta is at most 18%, and thats in rural areas, during the most recent bi elections in urban areas the republican party got less than 1%...
I was more thinking the political impact of saying no, it would kind of blunt alberta premiere Smith demanding more projects if industry is saying, na we good for now. After all this seems like a simple and very quick project of adding additives to the pipeline.
I had a good laugh that Bonnie Critchley asked for a show of hands from the audience of who actually can vote in the by election, and barely anyone raised their hand.
sigs 338 belt weight is 33lbs for 300 rds, the weapon weighs 21lbs which is less than say a 240G at 24lbs. Not huge differences, and I agree, still more a mounted weapons.
I heard Sig's 338 MMG was being looked as an option because it had about 80% of the range and stopping power of a .50, but weighs less than a M240, new ammunition also has 300 rds of 338 weighing the same as 100 rds of 50 cal
