Shouldnt be that Difficult. Had spec pay? Yes Had Spec pay frozen? yes Did you say yes to both questions above? Yes Here is your money Thanks There are alot of nuances out there with the " never did QL5," etc. Pay office had to have the ability to grant you Spec, not just someone saying...

    VAC wait times

First to merge it with another post? Digging through pages upon pages?  Lol. The legion is not of much help either. Tried them.

    VAC wait times

I will try to not make this a bitch session, but, It bothers me to no end that VAC is now just working on claims from 11 months ago. ( I have had a two year fight to get a stabilised PTSD condition that was just considered complete in Nov via VRAB) Saying that, I have not received payment, So...

    PIA-

So, I will start off here, Medically released, over a year ago. I work a stable job, Difference is that I for medical reasons (Mental and Physical) work from home. My Case Manager who has been pretty kick ass since I switched has now had me apply for it. Being Medically required to work from...

I do not see this portion taking that long. They have realised an error made, and are correcting it. If they postpone/draw it out any longer, you are going to have even more frustrated personnel. Yes it is alot of work, however they managed to get that severance pay sorted out within a year for...

Compassionate posting? Good Luck with that Joke, those postings are left for buddies of corrupt wanna be politicians. My daughter was severely ill, spent a tonne of time in the hospital. I found and discussed my situation with the local FoS, pretty much sold myself (they said they would gladly...

If you read the thread, its not "My complaint" its 95% of the ACISS trades complaint now. With MES more and more and seeing the light, Other trades do not have such a difference from Military to Civilian counterpart. In addition, the numbers previously pumped in are self reported, and way on...

You do not get paid well. I will call that out right here.  Even with Field Pay, I actually just was able to get a Network type Sig Op hired at my company for 15k more a year then they were making, with 15 days off(in reality, I probably run 25-30 days off a year). We have a superior retirement...

Face it, the CAF needs to operate as an international company, the amount of employees, requirement for instant communication in a broad manner of mediums is required. Difference is, they have to deal with it with stress, very strict possible life or death timelines. Of Course you need...

    Vac claim. Questions

The team members in the office are of much more assistance then the call centres. Its more personal seeing the person for them, and are wanting/willing to do more. In the event your waiting too long, ask for it to go to an Inquiry Resolution Officer, in addition to speaking to a Case Manager...

    Vac claim. Questions

What is he going to do? Nothing, all he will do (His assistant/Secretary) will do is a typed up letter (Mass stack awaiting signature) and mail it back to you stating someone will contact you (4-6 weeks later). This was for a Claim pushing 8 months awaiting answer. I emailed/fb messaged Mr...

$60k a year or $90/100? With the same amount of holidays, comparable if not better pension plans with more option and more control over the financial amount you put in, and where it gets invested, RESPECT for your abilities, The EXACT people they need to get this ACISS Idea up and running...

    Is the system Broken?

Yeah I did, and the result came before that. To be honest, I get a better result when pushing with the Inquiry Resolution Officer. They have the means to directly call the person that has my file at the time. I am still waiting on departmental review though. VAC said They did not see me as...

The culture is caused by people feeling they deserved it, and did not do the extra training to receive it. The Spec Pay is an incentive to keep people in the trade, instead of doing their 4 year minimum after POET and taking a civilian Job. From my mindset; I was LCIS, Quickly promoted to...

    Is the system Broken?

Well, As we go on, I am on my 4th Claim, with medical proof, and diligent medical records, I have not once had a claim completed in the Service Standard Timeframe. All, have gone at least 5 Months, or Longer. The system is a joke, and even more so with those two faced lying pricks at the helm.

    Is the system Broken?

Has anyone else noticed that the some members when you call in are also very rude, short, as if you are bothering them with inquiring? On civilian side now I actually am team lead for a call in tech support team, If any of my team spoke to a customer like a NCC spoke to me they would not last...

    My VAC experience begins

I took my reassess, read it, sat there with the table of disabilities, and checked the words and matched it up. It is not difficult. Its like the old style PER, Keywords is where its at. I knew where is should of been sitting even before I said I wanted an appeal.

    Is the system Broken?

I have a few issues with VAC, and this is how I find the system is broken. 1. Zero Accountability- If files are lost, taking to long, there is no internal way to have them sped up or answers provided. This includes lost mail etc. - My case in point, PTSD reassess was supposed to start Oct 15...
