Keep on them Trish. I am sure it will be coming and you will not miss NOAB with us.
I just received the phone call from the RC to go and pick up my letter and documents. I am going to do that this afternoon. Also told her that a Saturday flight would be better for me.
Have a great day...
Paul...sounds to me like you and I are going to have some fun and interesting conversations next week (and into the future). I could not agree more with your comment.

That really sucks! I can truely empathize about being laid off. Better things await.
Remember, at one point in the very near future, this day won't matter diddly.
Enjoy a better one tomorrow and keep looking forward to next week.

For those who missed my update on the NOAB thread, here it is:
I WILL be attending the NOAB on Sept 28. I found out from someone in Esquimalt. My travel arrangements have not been made yet. I gave a call to my RC this morning inquiring and the Cpl who makes the arrangements is out today and...

My very first posting was Goose Bay. Yes it got cold as hell in the winter, but it was the best social life I have ever had. My daughter was born there.

Glad to read all is good now.

Gotta say, Nauticus has a point with his comment on age. The younger ones who have this 'union' attitude probably learned it from the older ones.
Guess there is attitude issues with all generations.
My wife is also a Jedi...she says "gee I am cold" and before I know what happened, I am turning up the heat in the house. No idea what happened. I heard a lot of wives are secret Jedi.
