My medical came back the same week I did it, I have the cfat, interview and medical all done the longest part of this process for me has been waiting for background & security clearance to come back.

I'd imagine it does affect processing time. But there are many other factors as well I'd assume, eligibility and suitability for the trade etc

Yeah my portal sat like that even after my interview and being told my background papers would be sent off immediately lol finally changed a week or so later hoping to God I find out I get an offer soon or what my next steps are, what trade are you going in for?

Yeah they really pushed the ATIS narrative on me as well they must be short handed in the trade and apparently I was just 1 point away on my cfat from being eligible but it's whatever lol and yeah from what I can gather it really depends on the trade it seems for the screening I talked to...

That's my hope! And I was going fir Aerospace telecommunications, Information systems tech and signal tech and I qualified for 2 out of the IST and Sig Op and ton more but I chose Information systems technician as I have a computer background and hopefully your background check comes back soon...

Not a clue my friend I'm in the background/security clearance stage myself now since October 10th and I'm a canadian citizen. I'm hoping I'll be on a competition list soon if all goes well

You'll have to fill it into amongst all your other paperwork it'll be in there it's like a consent form essentially

Congrats to you both! I'm still waiting for my security clearance and background to come back looks like I'll be on a comp list my mid to late November and hopefully bmq sometime in the new year!

That's brutal I'm in final processing now and was told my medical was approved but needs final approval lol seems like everyone's experience differs
