"If" ??? I'v seen plenty of recruits on bmq that should not have been sworn in. Some people are just slower than the average person. Others are ignorant of the rules and regulations and a few, out of sheer dumb luck, just managed to float under the radar and into the Canadian Forces.
Jiminy jillikers radioactive man :o. That certainly wasn't a fun thread to read but I'm glad that the situation has a been addressed. I highly respect the work the grunts do but it's just not for me.
Doing pushups on 2 benches is also a good exercise for core strength. Put you hands on one bench and put your toes on the other bench. Also works out the chest more than a regular pushup because it stretches it more.
Lol I think your parents and my folks would get along great ;D I had the same problem as you except I was 17. They wouldn't budge either so I waited till I was 18 and didn't require their stupid consent. That may just be what you'll have to do if they wont change their minds
I prefered the British and Australian ads because of the high level of action. The Marine vid was definitely the worst; the beginning looked like a Gillette commericial.
If you have a baby face then you're lucky. Shaving in the morning will be one less thing you have to do while at basic. Yes the instructors will tell everyone to shave regardless but those in my platoon who didn't have to shave never or rarely did. If you have a bit of growth you can shave at...
Well this contest convinced me to subscribe. Hopefully I'll get my army.ca touqe before the contest ends. Now I'm not as photogenic as Couchcommander but I'll try my best ;D
