I am looking for a set of mess kit for an army officer. My size is XL. Anyone out there with a set to sell?

I have just finished his book 'Leadership'. I was impressed by how he wove his experience in our Armed Forces into the lessons for young leaders to follow. A good book. My :2c:.  :remembrance:

I remember the JR Mess open at 1600hrs a couple days of the week, and always on Fridays and Saturdays. That was in the late eighties. The RSS staff were our best customers, and us newbies at the time would sit quietly drinking and listen to the chatter for anything juicy for the PT session in...

Suprised...? I am not. This will be stuck up in red tape for the forseeable future now.

Considering the volume of history taught about our involvment in past conflict in the school systems, IMO this will put a little bit of our past into our daily lives for all to see/read. I think it is unique and outside of the box thinking.

With no disrespect intended to our francophone brothers and sisters in arms, and civillian as well, this 'Language teacher' should have bloody well kept her P's and Q's to herself in this matter, and let a fine man recieve a fine award. This is truly a sad time. My :2c:.  :remembrance:

No salutes! What about Rememberance day, Canada day, et al? Thunderflashes? Really? This is a sad day for all gunners. I don't believe there is such a thing as a blank  charge for the 81mm. Our government has whittled away the Forces to the bones, and now even the basics are harder to perform...

I am cool with it. The police in most cities are already outgunned by the criminal elements. These rifles wil hopefully level the playing fields, I pray without a high cost to innocents. :2c:

Holy $h!t ! That was like nothing I have ever witnessed before. I read about this stuff, but until you see it with your own eyes, it is just print on paper. Totally unlike anything I had ever imagined. BZ to the troops who cared for him. Ubique

I had a premature detonation in '89 on a field ex (MILCON in Wainwright), the round went off about 4-500 meters out on a charge 6 FFE. Gave us a moment of pause, then everyone went into a quick check of the fuses/batch no.s etc. It was only the one time and no one was injured.
