Could happen. But DND will still be doing the same review exercise but at 5%. PS types that get WFAed can be given a reasonable offer of another position. Other wise they can be put on a priority hire list. Some can also alternate with someone who wants to be WFAed. If they do this right...

Not sure how you figure QC is over represented. The reality does not match what you are saying. https://www.elections.ca/content.aspx?section=res&dir=cir/red/allo&document=index&lang=e They have 22.5% of the population and 22.9% of the seats.

Mitigations exist so yeah. I don’t think it’s as disruptive to the voter as some believe. But these guys doing this for their cause aren’t really doing themselves any favours. It’s supposed to be about changes to the system and has now become a bit of a farce. It just looks like the goal is...

They absolutely do. In another life doing privacy stuff this came up quite a bit. In particular to insurance companies so they could refuse coverage based on your dna results.

PSAC is the union. Most people don’t really follow their lead. I certainly do not. The proof is they ignored PSAC in that riding for 20 years. There are less than 12k public sector types (not all federal PS either, that also includes teachers, polite, municipal, provincial, community...

It’s a variety of factors. Fanjoy. Trump, Trudeau leaving, personal approval numbers, not being present in the riding, and his ie fall campaign tone. But the convoy was one of them. experienced members of his riding association including the president Marjorie Lebreton stepped down after...

"Army investigating members allegedly involved in 'abhorrent' Facebook group"

I suppose if leadership types were in there, active and knew about things that are contrary to CAF values, I could see RMs being used. If any of them lied or were uncooperative during the investigation that could also be an issue. What ever happens, this is likely a very unique case with a...
