further reporting indicating this "double amputee" had limited mobility, enough to stab someone else..............which is why the cops were called for this shit show. not sure what compelled engaging as buddy is trying to hobble away..........as Ray wisely postulated....its always the guy in...
interesting observation. I have been asked by policing peers long distanced from patrol operations about the new generation. i have actually found a similar experience. coupled with far better/focused training, they are just fine to work with. once they understand why for. as opposed to...
my question is, why doesn't greater Vancouver enable a GV Police Service. its still a bunch of departments and detachments, all policing the same general area. Montreal and Toronto don't have the patchwork that the lower mainland has.
"However, the country does not appear to be facing a world crisis at this time and would not appear to need to go to a catastrophic acquisition of combat-capable systems." - weed must be good in Vic these days.........
id agree if the source was an experienced, trained and learned scholar. these people are never anything but the last. its like a ph d explaining army tactics to a soldier. unless you ve been there and done that and studied that, my belief is listen.
watched the West Deutchers dig in a company using similar kit, while 3 RCR worked pick and shovel in 81. blew my mind we couldn't do better coming from a resource digging country.....

fair point. who is going to take on that shit job if all those with deep moral convictions leave. i have to ponder if this website or comments would have sparked the same backlash if posited by another servant of the crown.....ie) a librarian, or a health nurse, or a fire fighter.....
good to get something for CAS and to augment 88 x 35's - not a lot based against the tasks the a/c is expected to sustain, not counting lost aircraft over the next 75 years of operating them......
Would there be any value in hanging onto some of the CF 188's as a reserve or perhaps to deploy other capabilities - SEAD, EW or dedicated Air to Ground? 88 aircraft is not exactly an overwhelming number -
