Veterans Affairs says worker ‘inappropriately’ discussed medically assisted death with veteran

My high school peers thought I was soft in the head, my dad was ok with it, mum thought I’d become a raging alcoholic within weeks.

Military chief warns China and Russia are 'at war with the West' and Canada is not ready

IIRC this was done during Op Friction in 90/91 with PRO. Not sure about ATH or TER. The RN have been doing it for years with their forward deployed T23’s and MCM vessels in the Gulf, and more recently with River B2‘s all over the Pacific. Loads of potential maintenance options too outside of...

Military chief warns China and Russia are 'at war with the West' and Canada is not ready

Wasn’t Guam supposed to be the renewed Subic Bay/Clark AFB without the volcano and political unrest threat?

Victoria is facing a public-safety crisis

That happened to me a few weeks back, until her heels got caught in the steps….. I actually know the area well, walking the dog there a few times a week. A bear was in the same area last month. This isn’t exactly the sticks, with suburban sprawl surrounding it and getting denser by the month...

Government hints at boosting Canada’s military spending

I agree. On the other hand, HP on eggs is sublime, fried or scrambled.

Government hints at boosting Canada’s military spending

The latter, but as a kid I hated milk. Having to drink it at school after it had sat in a warm room for hours didn't help. We emigrated here before Thatcher the Milk Snatcher showed up. Incidentally, my dad thought the sun shone out of her arse. Considering the face-painting shit show being...

Government hints at boosting Canada’s military spending

Bold wasn't around then, but a yes today. Despite her previous reservations, the wife is adding it to tonight's meatloaf as a substitute for Lea & Perrin's. I give up.

Government hints at boosting Canada’s military spending

Spending my first 10 years in Yorkshire, I made HP sandwiches with Hovis bread an early staple. I'd still crawl over broken glass for it, as would my son. The wife thinks we're nuts...... There's a scene in Tomorrow Never Dies were the badies sink an RN Type 23. As HMS Somethingshire heels...

    Arctic/Offshore Patrol Ship AOPS

Come to think of it, I do remember that.

    Arctic/Offshore Patrol Ship AOPS

Good point about floating the idea now. I don’t recall there being much success with engagement with the west coast 280s. IIRC, this was late ‘90s. Maybe too little too late. I don’t remember any indigenous involvement when ALG paid off, but it’s been a few years.

    Arctic/Offshore Patrol Ship AOPS

During six years spent on and off at CFFS(E), I walked past the various ship and stone frigate crests daily that were by the Engineering Division building entrance. I thought Discovery’s from a heraldic stand point was a bit underwhelming. I mentioned it to one of my instructors who just...

    Favorite Issued Kit

'My wife said I was irritable, so I thought, “Why not cut off the dead bits myself?” So I got out the Black + Decker bench and a saw, and my wife brought me cups of tea. The thumb took two days, but eventually I got rid of all five of the ends, and the surgeon said I’d done a good job!' When...

    New British Army commercial

SA80s go to Ukraine. L1A1s come out of storage (so what if they're knackered). Ok, look....58 pattern webbing. Puttees and DMS boots (ok, that's a bit much).
