I agree. Far better to have U.S. allies in Asia serve as a bulwark, as they have vested interest in a multi-tiered approach to China.

It has been ages since I saw it, but I recall that Nicholas Campbell starred in a movie called "Going Home" in the late 80's. It portrayed some of the events of the Kinmel Park Riot in 1919.

While I have many reservations about some of his writing, he surely enabled much of modern military history, bringing such to a wider audience.
