Martel the choice will have to be entirely yours based on what YOU want to do. Both trades have upsides and downsides. Keep in mind that if you join the navy there is absolutely no guarantee that you will end up back in Vic. In fact, I wouldn't be entirely surprised if they posted you all the...
I have the same issue sometimes with movies about the military and war. Really, how hard would it be to have an ex-military troop to overlook and smooth out some of the outrageous, unrealistic things movies sometimes portray.
Seen a few Royals I recognized, and had to laugh at the f*ckups that people commit the first couple days of an ex. Some things never change but I'm sure they will get up to speed before deploying.
If they don't I feel sorry for the NCO's!
Sounds like a lot of whining here. Unless courses have changed tremendously in the last few years, the DS tends to get more sleep than candidates. The reasoning behind it is that they are more alert than you whilst training you. A little extra PT at opportune times never killed anyone and I...
Who can forget those days! Dress for the parade and sweat like a pig during PT thus freezing or dress for PT and do all your freezing before PT. Wonderful days they were, it only took a new CO to start holding winter PT parades in the drill hall saving us from freezing prior to PT.
Let's not...
Sorry to disagree recon but 64 pattern webbing was a colassal mistake from day 1! I wore it for the first few years I served and every section attack during training was followed by a break to retrace our steps and pick up our webbing that fell off during the attack. Same with doing any...
Sadly, this idiot now has his 15 minutes of fame and the usual idiots will trip over themselves to defend this moron over the Border Guards "violent abuse". ::)
He should be given a smack in the head for the most disgraceful depiction of CF personel ever to grace a TV screen!
FSTO, I lasted about 5 minutes into whatever episode was on and switched channels in pure disgust. A complete and total train wreck of a show that makes reality TV look like "high...
I would love to be a fly on the wall when the head of the CBC crawls in, hat in hand, to beg for more money!
Maybe it's time to trim the bloated, bureaucrat pay checks, get off the public teat and try to actually become competitive.
John I will leave you with my final reply to anything you post here. Ref. Liberal balancing the budget, you ignore the FACT (which you like to brag of) that the budget was balanced a big extent to the elimination of a large portion of federal transfer payments to the provinces. Again, easy to...
There was a story a few years ago about Russian players who had agents that had ties to organized crime but I honestly don't think any of the players had engaged in anything illegal. Maybe it's just looking for statements from the players to rule them out of any ongoing investigation.
This is the same question I had. I think someone should be investigating the ethics of a doc giving fertility treatments to someone who obviously has no fertility problems. I'm also curious about how she intends to support 14 kids. Or is the taxpayer going to help with her welfare payments...
George completely owned "the prodigy" exposing him as a game, but outclassed fighter at 170lbs. BJ should stick to the 155 class and not give anymore thought to moving up in weight. A fight I would love to see in the future would be GSP/Silva :o The only question would be what weight class?
Just a quick opinion on good old Taliban Jack. To say you will vote against a document without knowing what is in said document reveals a close-minded, ignorant outlook. To have it pointed out to you that the document contains almost everything you called for and you still say you will vote...
Cutting transfer payments is an easy way to balance a budget. You pay my mortage and I will now claim to be debt free. ::)
Only a Liberal apologist would consider 20-40 MILLION an insignificant sum of money. What would you call a BILLION wasted on a useless registry that accomplished nothing...
