As others have asked, what rank and file voted NDP? I joined in 81 and in all those years I have never met a single person in the Forces who voted NDP! There probably are a few simple souls voting NDP but I've yet to meet them. 8)

Unfortunately a good number of troops who have ND's either have no respect for the weapons or are afraid of the weapons! The other thing I find lacking in some troops is professional pride. It seems a number of folks are in the Forces for a paycheck only and couldn't give a rats ass about...

I remember more than one gate guard person had a bolt in but the magazine was covered with gun tape  :o to prevent a round from accidentally being chambered. The no bolt seemed to be predominantly in C6 and C9's while on gate guard!
