Did you also mention to them that if your a reservist, your volunteering to go overseas, your not ordered. Or that no matter what trade you are in the military your automatically going on your BMQ and your going to lear to shoot with a c7a1? Also have you brought them into your local recruiter...

I think the one of the main reasons behind the decision to go from tracked to wheeled was specifically because of the timing it took to change out a track as opposed to a wheel. But deffinatley all the equipment slows the vehicle down.

2 scenarios. 1 if you  handed your application in to the CFRC without going through a specific unit. The CFRC should be calling you to tell you what unit you are going to be entering and in which trade you chose. 2 Your application went throught the unit recruiter, and they will get in touch...

vech tech training is approx 13 weeks long and will take your entire summer, The other possibility is that you can get on a reg force course, and only do the reserve half of it. Which goes on in the fall/winter times. So if your in school, looks like you will be doing your bmq/sq/driver wheel...

no prob well they aren't offically CF but they were purchased by the CF ;)

Its true.... we can do anything from coleman stoves and lanters all the way up to the big arty guns, lavs and hydraulic systems. All depends on whats needed. Really a Weapons Tech is a Jack of all trades. You'll probably even fix a CF bike every once in a while. Not to mention working on safes...

just a lil side note... our  military has just begun to look at their past videos, and is beginning to notice a change is needed. look for it in the near future.
