Don't worry if your not doing it properly they will tell you once and then start screaming at you how to do it the proper way. Ah memories  ;D I held my breath so I wouldn't laugh when the insturctor was screaming at me.

I wonder the same thing at the gym. I seem to run at a faster pace but still get the same times. But when I asked how long the track is nobody knows and I heard 100m and 160m. So either I am making really good time or just average time around 10:00 min for 2.4km
